What glass thickness do I need for my glass table top?

If you have a table top with a flat surface for the glass to rest on with little to no area where the glass is not supported, the best and cheapest option is to select 3/16″ or 1/4″ “regular” glass (non-tempered glass) with flat polished edges. If you are looking for an unsupported glass table top, you will need to purchase a 10mm (3/ 8″) or 12mm (1/2′) tempered glass for the best results.
