The thicker the glass, the heavier it is. A 1/2" (12 mm) thick panel is more stable, but also harder on the hardware.
Shower glass panels under 80" in height can be purchased in 10 mm (3/8") or 12 mm thickness depending on the style your prefer. Over 80", aim for 12mm glass. We will provide heavy duty hardware to accommodate the glass weight.
